You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you don't know for sure. But it doesn't matter. How can it not matter to you where the train will take you?

its going well thx for asking

This is probably a massive surprise to all my followers, but today I announce a new show which has been in the making since.... 6 hours ago!

Yes, Starting sometime in Spring 2011, I will be launching the pilot episode of a brand new drama/comedy. The first season will have around 10 episodes ranging from 2-6 minutes long. I am currently negotiating with SongsToWearPantsTo for a theme song for the series.

So what is "Psycholypse"? It's a brand new idea I came up with chatting with one of my awesome friends, FlashFireEX. A protagonist named Jeff takes a job at a mental institution to consult with an entire array of mentally ill patients with a wide range of symptoms. He uses his therapy skills the best he can to calm the patients. The series will have dark moments in it, but for the most part attempt at more complex and mature humor (read: no cock jokes, no using the word "fuck" or "faggot" every sentence") and throughout Jeff's encounters with these patients, you'll be laughing and at the same time, on the edge of your seat, quivering in fear.

I haven't written all the episodes in the first season and I would be open to any ideas from people here. I am also searching for experienced voice actors that are willing to commit to the series for a long period of time. Anybody who helps with writing scripts for episodes or voicing character WILL be co-authored and will receive a rather large portion of the ad revenue from the show.

I have scripted 3 episodes and will begin animating late September.

Episode List for Psycholypse Season 1:

1. If Only He Knew...

A fellow therapist introduces Jeff to the current patients in the Psycholypse Mental Institution (PMI). These patients are not bound to leave soon and Jeff soon realizes the job which he has applied for is potentially lethal.

2. The Catcher

A new, insane and animal abusing patient arrives at PMI under the name of "Krash Fetchum". Krash had recently been busted for chemically mutating animals by injecting them with steroids and adrenaline so that they would liken to the appearance of a Pokemon. Little does Jeff know that Krash is not afraid to mutate other types of animals - namely human beings.

3. The "Troll"

Jeff meets with another patient who is addicted to the internet and finding ways to trick people into giving him attention through a specific imageboard called 4chan. With no internet available for use within the institution, the patient adapts to his surroundings and finds a way to "troll" the entire staff of Psycholypse Mental Institution.

New Animated Series: "Psycholypse"!

Hey Newgrounds! I'm still working on my Kirby thing for the Many Kirbys Collab, hosted by some awesome people who's names escape me at this present moment. I am about 1/5th done, but the rest should be easy since it is mostly lip syncing. It should definitely make you laugh if you know who Vince from Shamwow and Kirby are. The art is going to be quite well done, all FBF done with my brand new-ish tablet. Get one, even if you are not serious about flash animating, they're just plain fun to use.

Also, I have a new project in mind called Wacky Gay Jokez 4 Fagz. It's exactly what it sounds like, a parody of a show which is mostly a parody. Basically, it's a one man project in which I will imitate all the horribly scripted characters in the WGJ4K series and pretty much sum up their intentions while trying to make a point. It might even be a step ahead of the real thing because I will do jokes that aren't purposely trying to be stupid. It also won't be a completely ugly looking parody either, I'll try my best to make it look as smooth as the actual thing. And I'll bring in a new character which should be in the show too.

:3

Which brings me to another point, who the fuck finds purposely stupid jokes funny? I mean, that's just weak humor. The entire show is a huge piece of junk, with the exception of the first 2 episodes. Just saying, that's where I stand as of now. Maybe HotDiggedyDemon can learn a thing or two from the low grades.

So yeah, that's about it. HOW IS EVERYBODY ELSES SUMMER GOIN'?

Hey Newgrounds!

It's been a few weeks since Moovlin PC launched and I am fairly happy with what came of it now. But nevermind that, I want to talk about my next project, which is an entry in FlashFireEX's "Many Kirbys Collab". Basically it's a collab highlighting all of Kirby's abilities and power-ups. I'm doing a skit about Chef Kirby, but it has a twist. RLFHOG3 helped voice act, he also did some voices for Moovlin PC.

Anyway, the sketch is sort of a take off of Vince Shlomi from the infamous Shamwow/Slap Chop commercials and it turned out hilarious. Also, I got a tablet the other day for 40$ and to my surprise, it actually really improves your animating skills. It's nice to have pressure, which a normal mouse doesn't have, and it is a lot faster to draw things up.

So back to the sketch, I have a voice clip from the sketch which you should laugh at. It is coming slowly but surely, and it looks way better than anything else I have made.

Other from that, I don't really have any other projects going on. If you want to do any collaborations with me, I'd be glad to see into that. Of course, I can't serve everybody, but I am here for anybody who wants some help. I would love to start a flash cartoon series, anybody have ideas?

So yeah. How was your day?

The Many Kirbys Collab + Help me out!

Well, you have changed me today. Moovlin PC got a low rating for what amount of effort I put in, and you guys seem to have thought I was lying about working on it for 2 years. There are no lies in it. It isn't perfect, but you have made me change my attitude and I have decided to quit the flash scene.

No, you haven't defeated me. Don't get that into your head. For all the 0s you rated my game, there are 10s. There are people which love and enjoy the game, and others that don't. What I have done is much more than either of you 0 raters will ever accomplish in a life time. And it's not perfect, nothing is, some might appear sloppy, maybe you don't like the graphics, maybe you don't like the gameplay, but honestly, I like it. I put enough work into it and my friends in real life and on the Internet love it. There was almost 0 constructive criticism, so don't expect a sequel.

Which brings me to my next point. This game has taken one eighth of my life. 2 years out of the life of a 16 year old is no small time. You may have thought it was a waste, and that's fine, but what about you? Have you made anything? When was the last time you spent a huge chunk of your life making a game which you originally had no profit motive for?

It was by sheer luck and perhaps some good first impressions that Tom Fulp sponsored my game. I think it is because he sees the amount of work that has gone into it. Which is why the scores, be it high or low don't matter too much for me. Somebody, who has done something with their life, who has been on the flash scene, like me, since he was a teenager can honestly view this game and say it is worth being sponsored.

It is your type of character which really reflects in the eyes of me, and whether or not you care about that is one thing, but I know that even if the game scores a 0 out of 10, as long as I made the life of one person happier, and maybe if only one person out of thousands enjoyed it, I have done a good thing.

Not to ignore the point I made a few mistakes in the game. My description of it was shotty and I do apologize, I changed that for future references. There are a few parts I had to hurry to finish, but if you play the whole game, you can surely see 2 years of effort has gone into this. Remember, I am no game designer. I am a teenager who stumbled upon a site called newgrounds.com and was inspired to make something.

I am no Jazza, BoM Toons or other high profile developer. Hell, I can't even legally drink. I did this game from a labor of love. Whether or not you notice it is up to you, but if you can ignore all the work that has gone into this and simply dismiss it as garbage, then you should seriously look at your character and try to figure out something from it.

Anyways, I have decided to quit the flash scene. Yes, people may have wanted a sequel, or even another game from me. Please don't view me as a quitter, as it is not quitting at all. I have tried. You showed me that my skills are not in flash design, and from what you have told me, I have decided to try something new. The saying goes that a baseball player gets hundreds of fouls and strikes, but once and a while, he gets a home run.

I will continue in trying new things and tell you about it as time progresses about my ventures. I am going to use the money from the game sponsorship to pay for lessons in Aikido, a type of martial art. Maybe that's the thing for me, I certainly like it.

But that is about it. It is a matter of character with me, not being defeated by some critic who hasn't done anything worthwhile and feels the urge to blam a game created by a kid with an overactive imagination and driving sense of completion. I have come out of making this game a stronger person, I have learned many things on the way, and I look forward to going and trying new things. I encourage you to do the same.

OMFG! You've waited almost 2 years now... and it's finally here. Get ready for the biggest flash game of the summer!

Comment if you are stoked!

Heya!

Yeah, another pathetic blog post. No, Tom still hasn't sponsored my game as of now... and it's looking kind of glum because he never responds to any of my messages. On the bright side, it will utilize medals... 35 of them. On top of that...

http://yfrog.com/12r1moovlinpc1z

Nintendo-pie has kindly made a walkthrough for the first 10 minutes or so of the game, and he will proceed in making more when the full game launches.

I would embed images, but I have literally thousands of pictures of the game on my computer, and I'm too lazy to scale them to Newgrounds size. If you want to see images of the game, check out my thread at Blazebyte.org.

Hey! I need some beta testers for my game who can offer constructive feedback with good amounts of criticism.

If you can do that and want to test out Moovlin PC, leave a comment!
